I receive so many emails from people wanting to know how to get relief, and how to get relief fast so I thought I would share a couple of spells here that involve petitioning St. Expedite. Truth be told, I need to share his name and work because he has been extremely helpful to me and others that I have shared his talents with and one of the conditions of him helping you is that you have to agree to spread his name and tell others about how he has helped you. So don't forget that if you try one of these spells and find that he answers you.
Saint Expedite is the patron saint of those who need fast solutions to problems, who strive to put and end to procrastination and delays, and who seek financial success. His feast day is April 19. In Haitian Voodoo, Baron La Croix is often represented by St. Expedite. In New Orleans Voodoo, he often represents Baron Samedi, the spirit of death.
In hoodoo, it is customary to offer St. Expedite pound cake, flowers, and a glass of water. In New Orleans, we typically offer him Sara Lee pound cake. He is believed to grant any request within his power provided the petitioner recommends his invocation to others. In this tradition, his image in the form of Holy Cards and medals are used in gambling charms and crossing rituals.
According to a legend, Saint Expeditus was a Roman centurion in Armenia who was beheaded during the Diocletian Persecution in 303. On the day he decided to become a Christian, the Devil took the form of a crow or a snake and told him to postpone his conversion until the next day. Instead, Expeditus stomped on the animal and killed it, proclaiming, "I'll be a Christian today!"
Here is a popular spell that you can use to petition St. Expedite for just about anything you need fast.
St. Expedite Spell to Get Things Fast
Perform this spell on a Wednesday. Light a red candle in a glass jar. I used a cinnamon candle. Place a Holy Card of St. Expedite on your altar and set a glass of water next to his image. Write your petition on a piece of paper and place it under the candle. Then, say the following prayer:
Saint Expedite, you lay in rest.
I come to you and ask that this wish be granted.
____________ (Express exactly what you want, and ask him to find a way to get it to you.)
Expedite now what I ask of you.
Expedite now what I want of you, this very second.
Don't waste another day.
Grant me what I ask for.
I know your power, I know you because of your work.
I know you can help me.
Do this for me and I will spread your name with love and honor
so that it will be invoked again and again.
Expedite this wish with speed, love, honor, and goodness.
Glory to you, Saint Expedite!
Recite the prayer once a day until your prayer is answered. Allow the candle to burn down. When your request is granted, pour the water into the empty glass candle holder, and place fresh cut flowers in the candle glass. When your request is granted, thank St. Expedite by offering him a piece of Sara Lee pound cake (In New Orleans we are rather adamant about this, but I have heard reports from others that using any brand of pound cake will do) and be sure to tell someone how he has helped you. If you do not thank him in this manner, he will take back your request and then some, so be sure to remember this step.
St. Expedite Spell to get Rid of an Enemy
Okay, here is another version of the spell from my book The Voodoo Doll Spellbook.Perform this spell on a Friday. Write the name of your target on a helium-filled red balloon. Make a very small Voodoo doll out of red fabric, anoint with Fast Luck Oil or St. Expedite Oil, and attach a medal of St. Expedite to the doll. Light a red candle. Place a Holy Card of St. Expedite on your altar and offer him a glass of water and say the following prayer:
Saint Expedite, you lay in rest.
I come to you and ask that this wish be granted.
____________ (Express exactly what you want, and ask him to find a way to get it to you.)
Expedite now what I ask of you.
Expedite now what I want of you, this very second.

Tie the balloon to the Voodoo doll and release into the air. The person should leave in whatever direction the wind is blowing. When your request is granted, thank St. Expedite by offering him a piece of Sara Lee pound cake. If you do not thank him in this manner, he will take back your request and then some, so be sure to remember this step.
St. Expedite Spell for Financial Relief
Here is a spell for money emergencies. Take a white and a green candle; carve your name on them lengthwise with a pin. Anoint the candles with St. Expedite Oil or Fast Luck Oil. Light the candles and pray to him until he grants your request. Pray to Saint Expedite:
I call forth the Power and the presence of St. Expedite in my time of financial trouble. I offer my body, heart, mind and soul upon your altar of light. I have faith and trust and complete confidence that you will be my strength in this time of need. Quickly come to my assistance.
Bring to me ____________ (Clearly express what you want, and ask him to find a way to get it to you.)
My financial need is urgent. Be my Light and Guide in this situation so that I may live with peace, love, prosperity and abundance and in the Praise of God.
Amen.
Now promise to give Saint Expedite some Sara Lee pound cake if your desire is granted. Tell him you will spread news of his work as well by taking an ad out in your local newspaper so that his fame will grow.

I’m petitioning Saint Expedite for a job (my first time calling on him), and I relayed to him that on the September 30th and October the 4th I have financial obligations that must be met. I also explained that it’s stressing me out since there is no more money coming in the house. He heard what I said, told me what to do, a light bulb flashed over my head, I understood, the stress disappeared, and I did what he instructed me to do for those dates. He is still working on my behalf (this is the third day) helping me with a job, I have confident he will come through for me. The thing is, I am in love with a married man, we were meant to get together years ago, but it didn't happen, I moved on and I made contact with him last summer via Facebook! You ask a Saint to intervene on your behalf to assist you in breaking one of the commandments!? Think about that for a second & remove your selfish greed for and spirit to covet the husband of another. My brother has been incarcerated for 16 years and I've recently answered my callings and accepted all the saints in my life. ReplyDeleteLast week a stray cat some how got into my kitchen ceiling and was difficult to get out and so after praying to Jesus to help us and St Expedite for his help, finally after a few hours of trying we finally got him out and took him to the animal control center after a few days they gave us a call to come pick him up because they don't stay with adult cats so we brought him back and but him in out back where he usually stays but then he ended up in our kitchen ceiling again and that's when I remember when I had asked St. Expedite for help and had promised to write about it on the blog and felt like this is why the cat ended up getting back up there. After that I had apologize and asked for his help again. I asked that within the hour if he could help me get this cat out, I prayed to him to our lord Jesus and the blessed Mother and within the hour I was able to get him out. So just make sure guys that when you make a promise to God or any of the saints make sure you keep it because if they can come to your aid quickly its only fair to keep your promise. So thank God and Mother Mary and St.Expedite. Amen.

ReplyDeleteI have started praying to st Expedite. I made an altar and used a red ordinary candle. I have fee doubts. Can someone please clarify them.
First one is , what should i do with the things on the altar. Like what should i do with the picture of st. Expedite .
What should i do with the glass that contained the water and the glass thta contained the candle. Should i wrap everything and put them under some holy tree. What should i do with the image? Is it okay if i fold the image and place it in any of my books? Or should i dispose everything under a tree?
Second question is what should i do if my candle burns out fast and my prayer is still not granted. Should i immediately fill the candle holder with the water and place flowers and offer pound cake?
Third. Should i place coins on top of pound cake slices or on the side of the plate. What should i do with the plate. Should i dispose it too . What should i do with the coins ?
Thank you St Expedite...for speeding up an important process for us and for all the help you've given us over the years...

ReplyDeleteI have been with my Boyfriend for 9 months tomorrow; at first I felt so lucky to have him. He was the guy everyone was jealous of me for having and I knew this and felt so grateful he was with me. But now we are in college, and i feel that my steady career and love for travel is going to conflict with his arts based job and need to stay in the United States (for athletic purposes). Also I feel trapped sometimes like I can’t do anything I loved to do when I was single. When I was single, I would smoke a joint with some friends once and awhile and I bought myself a personal toy that I felt gave me a good escape when I needed it. Now when Im with him, he had me throw away the toy out of jealousy and if I even bring up the subject of smoking it is a horrendous fight. I used to love to dress sexy and feel confident with tight dresses and heels but I think i’ve lost that part of me when he proclaimed he thought I dressed too slutty. I feel so lost, I feel that Ive completely lost who I used to be. I love him to death, I really do love him.I think if i break it off im going to be so lonely and heartbroken. Ill feel guilty for a long time for hurting him, trust me, hes a really great guy. I just think we are too different. ReplyDeleteSo, I made the start of my petition on March 29th, a few days after I lost my job expectantly. The petition and prayer started on a Wednesday night and asked for 2 wishes. About a week or so later I got 1 out of 2 granted! I am still working with St. Expedite. The very first time i worked with him, he tricked me because I was NOT specific enough on my petition. I believe he reassured me that I needed to be specific to grant me=y requests so I started over. So far, it's been good! I can't wait until the requests are fulfilled so I can grant him his lovely offerings I promised him. St. Expedite is cool!

When I interviewed, they didn’t offer me the job I had initially applied for, but was offered another job that matched my skills. It’s a 3 month assignment that may be extended to 6 months.
